Welcome to the website of Thee Most Magnificent Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The Lambda Chapter was chartered at the University of Chicago in 1921 by seven dynamic women, including two of our beloved Founders: Osceola McCarthy Adams and Marguerite Young Alexander. These women saw the need for sisterhood, scholarship, and History of Sigma Phi Delta - Theta International. Sigma Phi Delta was founded in southern California on April 11th, 1924 as a way for engineering students to get together.
