COVID-19 relief funds helped many business owners keep operations up during the pandemic, but some people took advantage of the claims for fraudulent activities. Moustapha Diakhate, 45, appeared Monday afternoon before a U.S. Magistrate court in Bridgeport, and was ordered to be detained.
