Joffre Lakes is located in Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, a 25-kilometer/15.5-mile drive from the small town of Pemberton.The next closest town is the tourist resort of Whistler, which is where most people choose to spend the night before hiking Joffre Lakes. Whistler is just under an hour's drive away (61.6 kilometers/38.2 miles). The Joffre Lakes Hike is 10km long and will take between 3.5 - 5 hours from the parking lot to the Upper Joffre Lake and back, depending on your pace and how many rest stops you take to swim, eat or catch your breath.
