- The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) has announced the election of new Editors-in-Chief (EICs) for its three open-access journals — Investigative Ophthalmology IOVS: Leading clinical and laboratory ophthalmic and vision research. Publishing results from original hypothesis-based clinical and laboratory ophthalmic and vision research studies. Read Current Issue, April 2024. Now, it is with great pleasure that I announce that IOVS will go open access starting January 1, 2016. There will be, as is the case with other open access journals, flat per-article pricing that will be applied to all articles submitted on or after December 1, 2015.
