For most visitors to Vancouver, the number one item on their agenda--and the most famous landmark in the city--is Stanley Park. The paved pathway encircles the park and boasts incredible views of the city, the northern mountains, Lion's Gate Bridge, and the waters of Beyond the north shore of Vancouver, 75mi (121km) along the winding Sea-to-Sky Highway (BC-99) that passes Howe Sound, is the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort.
