Aug 2018. Meadow Brook is a very nice, well managed and playable course. There are some forced carries over environmental areas but they are not common on the course. The greens are in great shape and hold a good shot. Staff is very welcoming and the starter is a wealth of information regarding play, conditions and the area. While Newport National is the prized gem of Rhode Island public golf, Meadow Brook is an underrated course that offers better value and fantastic conditions. This is a course I would recommend to anyone in the area.
