Since the first running in 1970, the TCS New York City Marathon has grown from a local road race held entirely in Central Park to the world's largest marathon. This year, over 50,000 runners are expected to take on the famed course that runs through all five boroughs of NYC. New York Road Runners, whose mission is to help and inspire people through running, serves runners of all ages and abilities through races, community runs, walks, training, virtual products, and other running-related programming.
