En febrero de 2011 el bilbaino Roberto Ortega comenzó a visitar la Biblioteca Foral de Bilbo en busca de información sobre Eskorbuto. Durante más de un año y con jornadas de 12 horas no cesó de revisar páginas de todo lo que tuviese a su alcance. A mediados de 2012 por fin tenía en la calle un pack de dos libros sobre el trío de Santurtzi.
