Tahmoh Penikett (born May 20, 1975) is a Canadian actor who portrays Karl "Helo" Agathon in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica.. Born in the Yukon, Penikett is the son of former Yukon premier Tony Penikett, a member of the New Democratic Party of Canada.. Having recently entered the world of television acting, Tahmoh has an impressive list of guest appearances in genre shows such as Dark He is the son of former Yukon premier Anthony David John Penikett (Tony). A graduate of the Victoria Motion picture school, Tahmoh also studied at the Lyric School of Acting in Vancouver.
