Austin Lucas is an American indie artist best known for his own blend of folk punk. Early years Lucas grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, but moved to the Czech Republic in 2003. The two first collaborated in 2007 when they released a split album, and later on the Bristle Ridge record in 2008. Lucas took part in the Revival Tour alongside 09. My Momma's Son. 10. Sweeter Than The Flowers. 11. Easy Listening. This album compiles tracks from previous vinyl-only releases such as Austin's At War With Freak Folk 10? and his splits with Chuck Ragan, the Takers, and Frank Turner. An unreleased track rounds out the 11 track album. Suburban Home Records (500 copies black vinyl and CD) 2010. Yimmy Kil Definitely one of the best albums of the last year. Makes music with a purpose. Is a voice of the people and really says it like it is. This was a statement that needed to be made. Lyrically one of my favorite albums of the last 10 years. I have seen Austin live too. Great very personable artist.
