Reviews. 5 out of 5. Rural retreat, well equipped rustic style cottage (we stayed in Lavenham), very comfortable for our family of 4 consisting of 2 adults and 2 children (6 and 4 years old). Fantastic surroundings, very peaceful with wonderful views. Lovely walks on the doorstep, the children really enjoyed feeding the pigs and seeing the Melford Cottage (Sleeps 2) At one of end of the medieval barn sits Melford Cottage. With a wealth of beams and oak studs, Melford, which sleeps two in a king size bed, is one of our most romantic cottages.
