Beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Beat in the egg until well combined, about 30 seconds. Instructions. In a small bowl, mix milk with the warm water. Add the yeast and whisk gently until it dissolves. Let sit for 5 minutes, until the mixture begins to foam. Cream together the butter, sugar and salt on medium speed, until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Scrape down the sides of bowl and beat in the egg. Add half of the powdered sugar to the bowl and mix until combined, then add the remaining powdered sugar and mix again until combined. Carefully evenly spread the mixture over top of the mixture already in the pan.
