Ecobank Cameroon officially launched the Ecobank Mobile USSD Platform #237*326# via the National platform of Unified Electronic Communications in partnership with Cameroon Postal Services (CAMPOST) on the 14th of June 2021 at the MINPOSTEL Hall (Yaoundé). In 2015, she was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Ecobank Cameroon and then Managing Director in June 2017. Over her years in the financial and banking sector, she occupied various positions ranging from senior manager to regulatory and labour risk manager. Gwendoline Abunaw obtained her Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance at the A regional commercial bank operating in many African countries. The bank can be credited, however, for bringing down its non-performing loan ratio from 6% of its loan portfolio in 2006, to 4% in 2007.
