Cody is close to Yellowstone and has a really cool old timey vibe. Sheridan is on the mountain and close to Lake Sibley which is grogeous. Sheridan is closer to Billings, MT which has a ton of options as far as music, shopping, food, etc. If you love hiking and camping, Sheridan might be a better fit for you.
