Analyses showed that weighted soil erosion values in the Brantas river basin were 448.73 tons/ha/year which was classified as high erosion level. The area of 408,818 ha (41.74%) of Brantas river Sedimentation caused by erosion in the Lesti Sub-Watershed and the upstream part of the Brantas Watershed as a whole has an impact on disrupting the role of the Sengguruh Dam in supporting economic activity in East Java.
