Jummah Khutbah, or the Friday Sermon, is a critical part of the Jummah Prayers and is mandatory to attend for all worshippers. It is a two-part Arabic lecture in which the Imam highlights the greatness of Allah SWT, recites Durood Sharif, and explains different religious and social issues from an Islamic context by narrating various ayahs of English Friday Khutbah based on the Quran and Sunnah. Every Jummah Khutbah (sermon) comes with audio and full text transcript. They can be read online, downloaded as a pdf file and are ready to be delivered. These brief khutbahs (خطبة الجمعة), are good reminders and help increase Islamic knowledge. 3-. It is mustahabb for the khutbah to be in Arabic but it is not essential, and the khateeb may deliver the khutbah in his own language instead of Arabic.
