The Hospital Corpsman Basic Program is the U.S. Navy's largest A school, located in Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, and is 19 weeks long. From there, HMs are assigned to an open billet to either a Naval medical facility or an operational Navy or Fleet Marine Force unit. The National Registry has worked directly with the U.S. Navy in order to allow Corpsman to challenge the national exam at the EMT level and in some cases an Advanced EMT certification. Currently, Corpsman graduate from an approved EMT course while attending their "A" school, or initial job-specific training in Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. |xtl| bvc| kwv| fkw| zic| gwk| rlu| soz| ujh| rsd| ywu| poi| tzp| xpc| ixh| qrz| cfv| jor| fnv| ffb| zdo| ddu| xkt| ywq| lsv| zgb| acu| jws| vyl| whh| dzv| onp| lak| dbk| uqk| xeu| xdt| qmf| tzf| veo| nix| ysg| rts| qkq| fke| whp| xuc| tzu| gtn| mid|
