DANBURY - Vivianne Alhayek wasn't certain she wanted to move to the United States from Lebanon when her husband came here to work in 1990, so they lived apart for three years while he got settled. He was a member of the Lebanon-American Club, the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce, and St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church. In 2007, the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce honored Mr. Salame with its prestigiou­s Cecil J. Previdi Award.
