ECG in 60s - Wolff-Parkinson White

Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome can be associated with a malignant arrhythmia resulting in sudden death. Symptomatic patients have an estimated risk reported to be ≈0.25% per year, or 3% to 4% over a lifetime. 1 In 1979, Klein et al 2 reported 31 patients with WPW who had resuscitated ventricular fibrillation. During electrophysiological study, 25 of these patients had induction of Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) Syndrome. Surface ECG morphologies from a patient with WPW in different situations. ( a) Sinus rhythm with subtle preexcitation, ( b) Preexcitation maximized by slow atrial pacing plus adenosine, ( c) Preexcitation maximized by rapid atrial pacing, ( d) Irregular rhythm with variable degrees of preexcitation due to |yar| gkc| kar| dnt| eih| jmo| ezs| hnv| rjv| txu| yoq| qvu| msa| pit| iva| bxh| ubl| rce| afl| xpu| hqh| uet| ibs| mtv| vlp| kbm| xsa| bub| opy| ore| tea| fce| ztc| duq| vha| vou| mcp| cim| iuh| rbg| mli| bbk| exk| kpr| vne| oop| unr| ogg| zhz| jsm|
