The Grimaldi group has just signed a multi-million dollar agreement with Hyundai Mipo to build six new RoRo ships at its yard in Ulsan. Each new vessel will have a length of 250 meters, a beam of 38 meters and a deadweight of 45,684 tonnes. The new ships will be the first of a new class (G5) for the line and are an evolution of the previous G4 Grimaldi Green 5th Generation vessel design and features. The GG5G-class vessels have an overall length of 238m, width of 34m and a gross tonnage of 67,311t. The ship can accommodate 31 crew members and 12 passengers.
