Bad food and expensive to boot!. A friend and I stopped at the Veranda Bistro today for some lunch. We both ordered the Souvlaki Dinner, lamb. The lamb was tough and dry, the pita bread was soggy, and the rice had little flavor. Paul's downtown serves a better souvlaki dinner than the Veranda Bistro.
