Paul Jackson Pollock is born on Watkins Ranch, Cody, Wyoming. His mother, Stella May McClure (1875-1958), and father, LeRoy (Roy) Pollock (1876-1933), both of Scottish-Irish descent, were born and raised in Tingley, Iowa.
