RICHMOND, VA — The Hilb Group, LLC (THG) announced the acquisition of New York - based Bentson Insurance Group. The transaction became effective May 1, 2017. Founded in 1948, Bentson Insurance Group is a full-service property and casualty insurance agency specializing in home and business insurance as well as group benefits insurance. The Hilb Group LLC has acquired New York-based Moran Moran & Dauphin Inc., effective Nov. 1. The acquired entity's leadership team of Anthony Moran and Ryan Dauphin, along with their associates, will join Hilb Group and continue to work out of their existing location in Auburn, New York. The Hilb Group LLC acquired Lake Success, N.Y.-based Rampart Brokerage Corp. & Affiliates, effective Dec. 1, 2020. will join Hilb Group's tri-state operations.
