Weihnachtsmarkt is the largest fundraiser for the Sophienburg Museum & Archives, furthering our mission of Creating Connections and Enriching Lives through the Power of History. Fashioned after the open air Christmas markets of Germany, this glittering indoor event offers Private Party shopping from over Weihnachtsmarkt transforms the 21,000 square-foot New Braunfels Civic and Convention Center into a holiday wonderland adorned with Christmas trees, German Christmas Stars, and twinkling lights as far as the eye can see. With over 65 vendors and artisans, visitors can shop for German collectibles and ornaments, unique decorations, specialty Help the Sophienburg continue to tell the real stories of New Braunfels.
