URS Corporation, the US-based design and engineering giant, has completed its acquisition of Scott Wilson Group plc, three months after it agreed its initial US$242 million stake. Shareholders in UK based Scott Wilson, who approved the deal on 30th July, will receive 290 pence in cash per share. The total equity value paid by URS for all Scott Wilson (Hong Kong) has appointed Dr Martin Kwong as chairman and Simon Davies as managing director. Kwong joined the company in 1975 and his main technical expertise is in highways, civil engineering and buildings. Davies joined in 1978 and has worked for 18 years in Hong Kong and five years in Kuala Lumpur, including the Tuen Mun light Scott Wilson became a publi limited companyin 2006, and in 2010 was purchased by the American firm URS Corporation. In 2014, yet another American firm AECOM purchased URS corporation. Therefore, Scottwilson is now part of AECOM.
