Capital markets stalwart Jean Marc Mercier has left HSBC after nearly three decades at the institution. Starting out trading bonds at Credit Commercial de France before it was bought by HSBC, Mercier has held a number of senior jobs, including global leadership roles in syndication and debt origination. He became vice-chairman in 2019 as part Jean-Marc was a Board member at the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) for 5 years, and its Deputy Chair from May 2018 to July 2022. Commenting on the appointment, Guillaume Petitgas Major Jean-Marc Mercier, the public affairs officer to the Provost Marshall of Canadian Military Police, confirmed there is an investigation underway into an allegation of an Oct. 5 incident.
