The UF Health Cancer Center will be presenting at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting in New Orleans. Kate Hitchcock, M.D., Ph.D., appointed vice chair of national DEI committee November 28, 2022. The committee works to develop and implement programs and policy to foster DEI initiatives within NRG Oncology. This year's World Cancer Day theme, "Close the Care Gap," is all about making sure leaders make a commitment to prioritizing cancer, creating innovative strategies designed to confront inequity and investing resources to achieve a just and cancer-free world.
