US advanced biofuels producer Renewable Energy Group Inc (NASDAQ:REGI), or REG, today said it has agreed to buy a biodiesel plant in Wisconsin from Sanimax Energy LLC. It will pay USD 11 million (EUR 10.1m) in cash and will issue 500,000 REG shares to acquire the 20-million-gallon (75.7 million litre) refinery in DeForest.
