Gantheaumeポイントブルーム地図

Gantheaume Point is a promontory about 6 kilometres (10 Minutes) from Broome, Western Australia and a favourite tourist attraction. Named after Honoré Joseph Antoine Ganteaume, in 1801 by Nicolas Baudin on a French expedition to map the coast of Australia. Cooling off in a natural rock pool is favourite things to do in Broome. Gantheaume Point can be reached in 10 minutes from Broome via Gantheaume Point Road, while visitors without 4WD vehicles are still welcome as its soft rocks make for safe walking and provide ample room to view footprints at low tide. Gantheaume beach is truly exceptional, so visitors should bring a camera to capture its incredible views. It was named after a French explorer who thought it was an island. Supposedly, you can see dinosaur footprints at low tide. However, theres is a plaster cast made of them that embedded in the top of the cliff. Its sheer beauty offers a perfect photo op.
