Using ultra-high magnetic fields, we demonstrated feasibility of imaging metabolism with magnetic resonance in the human body at clinically relevant spatial resolutions. Keith Madaras, John Wodarski, Jon Monheim and Todd Black were once cross country and track teammates at Bowling Green State University 30 years ago.
