Yeah I agree it is frustrating, and yes using Pro line posts should help. Dunno how it will look with just the RPM front bumper and the traxxas raptor body, for mine I wanted to use the traxxas raptor bumper but the only way I could get it to work the way I wanted was to use a mounting/skid plate that comes with the rpm front bumper so that the angle looked right.
