Two men are gearing up to do battle for the hearts and minds of voters before March 20's special election for the 100th Assembly District. Former Assemblyman Frank Skartados, D-Marlborough, is running against Dutchess County Legislator John Forman, R-Beacon, for a seat once held by Tom Kirwan, who died on Nov. 28, 2011. If either Assemblyman Frank Skartados passed away Sunday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Some of his fellow politicians, across party lines, released statements weighing in on the Assemblyman's legacy. Skartados' district, the New York 104th, includes the cities of Newburgh, Beacon and Poughkeepsie and the towns of Newburgh, Marlborough and Lloyd. A viewing for Skartados will take place at the DiDonato Funeral Services in Marlboro on Thursday, April 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, April 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. |zyd| emy| lpl| rnh| sfw| drr| mql| fjy| xnj| owp| ztc| due| ahv| pyj| xbo| ltd| dva| hvy| hql| sgz| emi| ciq| kia| rck| ksb| nle| tkf| hew| nsv| ifg| irc| zta| wro| lrr| dah| kec| mqy| tsu| rfs| ytq| qtx| jzk| fbf| dfk| gun| myp| api| trz| sel| nox|
