Rovi. Soundgarden return after a long hiatus with King Animal, their first album of new material since 1996's Down on the Upside 16 years previously. The influential band finds itself returning to Since the release of King Animal, Soundgarden has used the "skull"-logo, designed by artist Josh Graham, based on his artwork "Night of the last Equinox" (see original here ). About his art: Featuring animal skulls above a field of flowers in a snowy forest, the sculpture "Night of the Last Equinox" features a recurring motif of Graham's art King Animal, released November 13 2012, continued Soundgarden's courageous musical exploration while maintaining the band's special identity. The album's character is rooted deeply within the wild landscape of the Pacific North West - an atmosphere which still resonated strongly for the band.
