POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - It's a championship 24 years in the making. The Pocatello Thunder have finally gotten over the hump to win their first state title since 2000. It's been a long time since Poky won a title, and the drought was more painful after the Thunder fell in the 4A championship to the Hillcrest Knights in 2022 and 2023. The IHSAA and PCSD 25 congratulate these student-athletes for their outstanding academic achievement and commitment to excellence through athletics and activities.
