Already operating Chicago Excel Roseland and Excel Academy of Englewood, Camelot has now joined with Chicago Public Schools to open two more locations, Excel Academy Southwest at 7014 S. Washtenaw Ave., and Excel Academy of South Shore at 7530 S. South Shore Drive. Each of the new sites will serve up to 375 students. Excel Academy of Southwest is an accelerated school of choice for students ages 15 to 21 who are behind in their studies. Our program offers an extended day, where students can earn up to 5 credits per semester and 10 credits per year, allowing students to graduate in 2.5 years or less.
