ENGIE has announced the acquisition of Cofely Besix Facility Management (CBFM), by acquiring the remaining 50% of the shares formerly held by BESIX, and has rebranded the new entity ENGIE Cofely. Cofely Besix Facility Management came into existence in 2008 born out of a partnership between Engie and Belgian construction group Besix. Cofely Besix Facility Management LLC is a joint-venture established in 2008 by Cofely and the BESIX Group, to provide first-class integrated facility management services in the Middle East. The company employs 650 staff members in the UAE and 800 in Qatar. Cofely is part of ENGIE, worldwide global energy player.
