Glen Aulin - 11.4mi / 18.4km. Follow the Tuolumne River as it goes from a lazy river to a series of powerful cascades and falls down to the Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp. The trail begins on a gravel road to Soda Springs (see Soda Springs for description) through a mix of forest and meadows backdropped by the dramatic peaks of the Cathedral Range. All the joy of backpacking and none of the hassle! Glen Aulin is a beautiful High Sierra camp accessible after a moderate day hike. Typically open June through September, this beautiful backcountry camp is close to Waterwheel Fall and provides you with a tent to sleep in a hearty meal. This is glamping at it's best! Book.
