Replacing its annual Festival of Trees, Memorial Health is debuting a potential new holiday tradition in downtown Springfield. The Memorial Holiday Fest will debut downtown Saturday and will run Information. Each year, hundreds of talented local designers and volunteers transform the Orr Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield into a winter wonderland of exquisitely decorated showcases, trees, and wreaths. A nine-day holiday event featuring more than 200 trees and wreaths decorated with exquisite creativity. Presented by the Boys and Girls Club of Springfield, the Festival of Trees is set to return to the MassMutual Center from Nov. 24 to Dec. 10. According to the Boys and Girls Club of Springfield Marketing Director Sarah Gumaer, all the trees are donated, primarily by businesses, organizations, families.
