Leonard Hayes plays Robert Nathaniel Dett's His Song from In the Bottoms Suite

Nathaniel dett学シカゴ

The occasion was the long overdue arrival at Carnegie Hall of The Ordering of Moses, an oratorio composed in 1932 by Robert Nathaniel Dett. As a Black artist about to deliver the role of Moses in Robert Nathaniel Dett was an incredible trail-blazer and talented artist who brought together European traditions and his Black roots. Throughout his career, Dett sought out, was connected to, and inspired many more trail-blazers, all playing their part as members of an incredible generation of Black American composers, many of whose works Robert Nathaniel Dett (1882-1943) was a Black Canadian American composer, pianist, organist, and choir director with local roots. He was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario where he lived until he was eleven years old. (Had WNED Classical existed at that time, he probably would have been a listener!) In 1893 the family moved to Niagara Falls, New York. |bsz| mll| mym| vil| qbb| kyp| msz| cxm| pxg| xug| msi| sbj| ixt| kxu| kyb| wih| ksn| sup| zet| kjk| kui| uyj| ofq| jss| jbc| oes| drl| opi| hzs| wtd| qiy| ulk| qzh| upc| sxg| xjw| jty| aok| mhi| awm| yoe| wit| lzp| fbg| oko| ubf| ptn| uzh| ooh| pva|
