Sahale Mountain is a jagged, glaciated peak in the heart of North Cascades National Park at the head of the impressive Stehekin Valley. The classic Sahale Arm Route follows a ridge up the south side of the mountain from Cascade Pass. Climbers then ascend the Sahale Glacier to a final rocky scramble onto the summit pinnacle, surrounded by Hike to Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm. Often labeled as the best day hike in North Cascades National Park, the Sahale Arm hike is gorgeous every step of the way.
