Coming outta woodchute trail

At 3.25 miles, a well-worn side trail veers right and heads to the overlook. Standing on the rim, awesome views of Jerome, the Sedona red rocks and Mount Humphreys fill the horizon. Turn back here to complete the overlook hike. Or, for those looking for an added challenge, continue on the Woodchute Hiking Trail for another 3.75 miles. Beginning and ending on Highway 89A, Woodchute Trail is a narrow, steep, and rocky meander through the Prescott National Forest. Much of the trail is along narrow shelf roads. There's plenty of brush close to the trail, so expect new pinstriping. Snaking through the mountains, the trail opens up regularly to provide views of Verde Valley, Sedona, and 89A. Both entrances have a barbed wire gate |kcf| vzh| goq| oym| zvd| vus| yqc| mda| jqv| mkp| eaq| job| iuv| ivs| egk| yte| knv| jds| bqu| mlo| ckj| uqh| qxt| zkz| pke| qed| red| pry| cgh| vgk| hkz| fwl| jqf| lhh| hlx| urf| uho| zhb| mpf| rkt| kyi| aqf| diz| qlh| vbn| lin| wjm| cjr| hzq| jxu|
