Jul 2013 • Family. This is a fun adventure playground among the trees in the stunning area of the Madonie mountains in Sicily. It offers rope/ladder walking from tree to tree, cable slides and so on at various levels of difficulty (starting 3/4 years old up to adults). There is also an area for bbq and picnic. A morning transfer will take you to Parco Avventura Madonie. Today you climb to the Piano Battaglia plateau (1700m) named after a famous battle between the Normans and the Arabs in the 11th century. You continue following the self-guided walking route encircling the beautiful Monte Ferro (1900m) and finally descend to a unique farm (or Quello delle Madonie è stato il primo Parco Avventura nato in Sicilia e nel Sud Italia. Quando nel 2008 ancora erano pochissimi i Parchi Avventura in Italia, grazie ad una perfetta collaborazione tra pubblico e privato nacque il Parco Avventura Madonie.
